Having emigrated to Australia myself (twice!!!) I understand just how stressful the whole process can be from making the initial decision to arriving in a new country where you don’t know the systems or even your way around.

I first emigrated to Australia from the UK at the age of 7 with my parents and sister. On arriving in Sydney just before Christmas on a bright summer day I was smitten. I knew that Australia was the place I wanted to live. We had been here for just over 3 years when a decision was made to return to the UK, I knew that one day I would return.

Like many people, I watched the TV programmes like ‘No Going Back’, ‘A Place in the Sun’ with my family and dreamed that one day this could be us. Whilst it took ‘many’ years, in 2002 we decided that ‘birds migrate so why shouldn’t we’? We wanted to 'Live the Dream' rather than 'Dream the Dream' and after conversations with several people and research on the internet we decided to use a Registered Migration Agent to assist with our application to emigrate to Australia. This was one of the best decisions that we made, not only did it relieve the stress of ensuring we completed the correct forms but that we got things right first time.

Our application for migrating to Australia was processed and our visa issued in 2003 and after ‘many’ years of dreaming, I finally emigrated for a second time with my family in November 2003. I decided after settling in Brisbane that I would like to assist other people to Live the Dream, not just Dream the Dream.
